As a Cape Ann Plein Air board member, Erika believes the event is a key economic and cultural driver, enhancing local tourism and elevating the region’s reputation as the “birthplace of American plein air painting.”

She finds inspiration in Cape Ann’s immense artistic talent, particularly abstract works and intimate depictions of daily life.
