Liz O'Connor has called Gloucester home since 1990, drawn to the coastal beauty of Cape Ann after growing up in the Berkshires as the youngest of seven children. A practicing attorney with a general law office in downtown Gloucester, Liz is married to Kevin Burke and enjoys a full family life with three grown stepdaughters, two grandchildren, and their pug, Hazel. As a new member of the Cape Ann Plein Air board, Liz is eager to gain an insider's perspective on the renowned event, having enjoyed attending the gala for many years.

While not an artist herself, Liz deeply appreciates the artistic spirit and particularly enjoys the sharp wit often found among artists. She recognizes the vital role that events like Cape Ann Plein Air play in the community, believing they offer invaluable opportunities for artists to showcase their creations and for the local community to engage directly with the artistic process.
