Palate to Palette, with Linda Lea Bertrand at Seaport Grille

  • Seaport Grille 6 Rowe Square Gloucester, MA, 01930 United States (map)

Please join us on Thursday, April 24th, at Seaport Grille, Gloucester, for a unique evening that pairs dining with the artistry of plein air painter Linda Lea Bertrand.

Linda Lea Bertrand’s paintings evoke peace and tranquility. Painting in plein air, among the changing landscape of New England and Provence, France, she looks for the calm among the activity of everyday life. Light features prominently within the marshes and costal areas and the fields and villages of Provence.

Initially self-taught, she has sought to improve her perception and skill by working with noted artists Daniel Greene, David Curtis and Jonathan Sherman. She exhibits her work at private galleries and local art associations in her area. She participates in local Plein Air events.

She had paintings published in NORTH SHORE LIFE magazine and was selected twice as Artist of the Month at SeARTS, most recently in 9/2020.

She was educated as a Nurse Practitioner. She started painting initially to alleviate the stress of working with the critically ill. She lives in Marblehead, MA which features prominently in her work.
