Sarah Willwerth-Dyer, a retired CPA, is a lifelong Cape Ann resident and proud "100% Cape Anner." Sarah, a musician, has always been inspired by local artists and enjoys supporting the Cape Ann arts community.

As a Cape Ann Plein Air board member, she is energized by the passion and positivity of the people she works with. Hosting artists during the event has led to lasting friendships, and she cherishes staying in touch with them throughout the year. Sarah believes events like Cape Ann Plein Air offer valuable exposure for artists while fostering a deeper connection to the region’s artistic legacy for the community.

Her favorite spots to visit are the Essex Marsh, Ipswich River, and Conomo Point. She’s often surprised by the high level of competition at the event, as artists are carefully selected from a talented pool.
