Traci Thayne Corbett
Vice President
Traci is the Vice President of Cape Ann Plein Air and a longtime advocate for the arts in her community. A Gloucester resident for over 25 years, Traci is the Executive Director of Cape Ann Art Haven, a local organization dedicated to providing access to art education for all ages. As a lifelong artist, she is deeply connected to Cape Ann, where she lives with her husband and 16-year-old daughter.
Traci loves being part of Cape Ann Plein Air because of the vibrant, dynamic team and the exciting, community-centered event that brings art directly to the public. She is particularly passionate about how events like Cape Ann Plein Air week allow the community to engage with artists and witness art being created in real-time. For Traci, Cape Ann’s unique blend of natural beauty and working town atmosphere provides constant inspiration for her own artwork, and she enjoys collaborating with artists who share her perspective. Her favorite painting spots include Beacon Marina, the Essex Green Belt, and Rocky Neck.
One of the most surprising things for first-time attendees is the energy of the event and the exceptional quality of artwork available at the Art Sale and Gala.
