CAPE ANN PLEIN AIR 2026 WEEK
Find Beauty in the Open Air.
With each brush stroke, a legacy is preserved. With each shaft of light, a new generation of artists and collectors is inspired. With every blank canvas brought to life, new connections are made. And locals are supported.
Cape Ann Plein Air (CAPA) is a nationally recognized non-profit organization dedicated to preserving Cape Ann’s legacy as the birthplace of American plein air painting. Through our annual week-long event and year-round programming, we bring world-class artists to the region, connecting residents and visitors with the landscapes that have inspired generations. And by attracting collectors and hosting community events, CAPA strengthens our cultural identity and helps power the local economy.
For 10 years CAPA’s commitment to sustaining this artistic heritage remains strong, as we seek to expand opportunities for cultural tourism and art appreciation across the North Shore.
One artist, one canvas, one brush stroke at a time.
